GolfWiz AI Alternatives: Best AI Swing Analyzer Apps Compared

- Instant voice feedback as you swing → Swing Coach.
- A free way to start → Sportsbox 3D Player and GolfFix AI both have free tiers with limited features and feedback.
Looking for a golf swing analyzer app, or an alternative to one you already use? We compared our app, GolfWiz AI, with major AI swing apps side by side: Sportsbox 3D, Swing Coach, GolfFix AI, and HackMotion.
Every swing analyzer app works differently and gives a different analysis of the same swing, each helpful in its own way. Moreover, not every app may be suitable for you based on your experience or understanding, which is why we not only compared each app’s features but also which works for whom.

The table shows what each one detects, whether it gives you a drill, what hardware it needs, and what it costs. Tap any app to open its full head-to-head comparison.

In our comparison of swing analyzer apps, we did not include a few popular apps on purpose. Apps like V1 Golf, OnForm, and Swing Profile are video-review tools, which means once you record your swing, you, or your coach more often than not, draw reference lines, view your swing back in slow motion, or compare it side by side with a pro. OnForm even features a 3D swing model and reports 12 metrics, but they are meant for coaches to interpret and provide feedback to students.
Although useful, review apps don’t tell you what’s wrong directly, and unlike all apps mentioned in the table, don’t provide lessons or drills to fix faults. Since this page compares apps that detect and name swing faults for you, we excluded video-only tools.
Best Free Golf Swing Analyzer Apps
Free plans of golf swing analyzer apps are usually a limited version of the app’s full features, so you can experience how the technology works. However, that also limits the analysis and actual features you can access to fix your swing.
That’s true of GolfWiz’s free tier as well, which is currently under development. To get started, we offer a free trial on every plan so you can check out the features and decide whether to upgrade or not.
